If Howl-O-Scream is the version with chainsaws, Spooktacular is the version you can bring a five-year-old to. It runs select dates from late August through November 1 and it’s included with regular park admission — no separate event ticket.
Families work decorated trick-or-treat trails, meet costumed characters, and hit the seasonal photo setups. The only add-on cost is the reusable trick-or-treat bag, which you do need to buy in order to collect candy.
Worth noting: costumes are encouraged here, the exact opposite of the nighttime event at the same park.
