Going Out Of Business on International Drive - Detailed Look at The Ups and Downs of I-Drive Orlando
Andy's Frozen Custard took a shot at International Drive Orlando and failed. We have seen Dinosaur attraction go extinct and even winghouse with hot girls serving beer couldn't survive certain areas of I-Drive Orlando. However, other places of I-Drive business thrive. You can't discriminate with housing to Americans, but I-Drive does discriminate when doing business on I-Drive. Case and point, the Brazilian area of IDrive, does super well tailored to the Portuguese speaking market. Andy's frozen custard was nearby, but nobody crossed the street for custard. You have a Chili's restaurant on I-Drive Orlando near Magical Midway that does well.
Across the street you had winghouse, and a country bar in a location and both went out of business quickly. The winghouse concept shows the weak areas of I-Drive that won't do well because you have two other places on I-Drive twin peaks and hooters that do well. The International Drive Orlando (I-Drive) area still has a lot of cleaning up to do. Currently, you have two billion dollars in construction and beautiful new places and attractions. New hotels are going up by Universal Orlando and much more. However, there still is some parts of IDrive that people do not flock to.
