Blake Shelton to bring Southern-style restaurant to IDrive Orlando
Let's hope this new restaurant does a little better than the Toby Keith debacle at the Artegon complex. That lasted all of about 10 minutes. Blake Shelton restaurant, which is owned and operated by Ryman Hospitality Properties, will open at the ICON Orlando 360 development. The development, which is right off I-Drive Orlando, is home to multiple bars and restaurants as well as the ICON Orlando observation wheel, formerly known as the Orlando Eye. They have Tin Roof right there and that really does well on weekends. However, they had an Irish bar and that shut down quick due to lack of business.
The name of the restaurant will be called: Ole Red and will feature a special live music experience with concert-quality lighting and up-to-date acoustics. With 15,000 square feet and the ability to seat approximately 500 guests, the venue also features indoor and outdoor private event areas and a view of the ICON Orlando Observation Wheel.
This will be interesting with Tin Roof right nearby. You will have two venues for music and both a Country/Nashville type. Either way, we love this news for I-DRIVE ORLANDO!!!!!! The official website is at:
