Extreme Dinosaurs finds I-Drive Orlando home
Dinosaurs are moving onto I-Drive Orlando, big time. Extreme Dinosaurs: The Exhibition, featuring skeletons and full-size animatronic versions of the prehistoric animals, is scheduled to open Oct. 12. The attraction will include creatures that represent millions of years and from around the globe, said Neil Tamboline, senior manager of production. The exhibit is scheduled to be in Orlando for a year. It is presented by Atlanta-based Premier Exhibitions, which also has the neighboring attraction called Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Extreme Dinosaurs will fill 9,000 square feet of exhibition space. Among the previous tenants in the building, located near the intersection of I-Drive and Carrier Drive, was an attraction based on the “CSI” television series. Admission will be $16.95 ($11.95 for ages 4 to 12).
